Course Summary:
Southern Nevada Laborers’ Local 872 sponsors this 4.5-hour certification course, which has been approved by the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and covers procedures for flaggers working on NDOT projects. All flaggers on these projects must have a certification of training in their possession while working.
Learning Objectives:
- Work zone hazards and safety;
- State regulations;
- Flagging personal protective equipment (PPE);
- Flagging procedures.
Flagger Training is an elective of the Road Scholar program.
Intended Audience:
Any person who utilizes flagging in NDOT projects.

None.

Registration:
Registrants must be employed by a government-agency or unionized company to take this course. To enroll in a Northern Nevada session, a registration form and an Acknowledged Rules of Conduct form must be signed by each employee.

The non-refundable registration fee is $85 and is payable by check or credit card. Payment must be made when notified to do so.
