Selecting the Right Pavement Preservation Projects

This course is scheduled for January 18, 2024 (1:30pm – 4:30pm).

A successful pavement preservation program is built upon an agency’s ability to select the right pavements for pavement preservation. This 3-hour training identifies core decision-making factors for project selection, focusing on the types of distress and pavement / environmental conditions encountered in Nevada. The training also describes additional factors the agency can include in the selection process based on its pavement data collection program and pavement management software capabilities. By the end of the training, you will be able to:

  • Describe distresses common to flexible pavements.
  • Identify factors to consider when selecting projects for pavement preservation.
  • Describe the condition of a pavement using pavement data. Note that two, 10-minute online modules need to be completed as a prerequisite.
