This free, four-hour course delves into major risks encountered in roadway construction, mainly focusing on Runovers and Backovers, Overexertion, and Heat Hazards. Join us for an in-depth look into these challenges and learn best practices and preventative measures to enhance safety in roadway construction.

Hazards in Roadway Construction was developed by the American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) and is offered in multiple locations.

Instructor

Robinson Vasquez has worked with ARTBA as a safety training and business development manager since 2012. He is an experienced trainer and business manager, with responsibilities for various safety training contracts and liaison with the Hispanic community in the USA and Latin America.
Before joining ARTBA, Robinson served as an attorney, specializing in labor and construction law in his native Peru. Robinson is a qualified ARTBA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and National Safety Council instructor and co-creator of different English and Spanish safety training materials.
